Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy a license for ComposerFlex or PianoFlex from flexmusiclabs.com.

1. Who sells to you. Your order is processed by Dodo Payments, our reseller and the seller of record. It handles payment, invoices, sales tax and VAT, under its own terms, which you accept at checkout: Dodo Payments Buyer Terms. Flex Music Labs LLC, an Illinois limited liability company, makes the software and grants the license.

2. What you buy. A license to use the products you buy, under the License Agreement, which you also accept when you install the software. You don't buy the software itself.

3. Prices. Prices are shown in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT, where it applies, is added or calculated at checkout by our reseller. We may change prices at any time; a change does not affect orders already placed.

4. Delivery. After payment, your license key is sent by email to the address you gave at checkout, usually within minutes. You download the software from flexmusiclabs.com. It's the same download as the demo, and the key unlocks it. If your key doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then write to support@flexmusiclabs.com.

5. System requirements. Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. PianoFlex's plugin needs a host that supports VST3. ComposerFlex makes no sound by itself: it plays through PianoFlex or another MIDI instrument. Please try the free demo first to make sure everything works on your computer.

6. Refunds. See the refund policy: 14 days, no questions asked.

7. Updates and support. Your purchase covers the product versions your key states. We are not obliged to release updates or later versions, or to provide them at no charge. We don't offer formal support, but questions can be sent to support@flexmusiclabs.com. Refund requests and license-key problems always get a reply.

8. Liability. The software is provided as described in the License Agreement, including its warranty disclaimer and limit of liability. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by agreement.

9. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, except where the law where you live as a consumer says otherwise.
